Plus4Group - Data Deletion Policy

This document explains how in conjunction with our Privacy Policy posted at https://plus4group.com/privacy-policy, we manage personal data and delete or anonymise it when we no longer have a legitimate need to keep it.

1. How we receive personal data

We may become recipients of personal data:

  • on our own behalf, such as if you make contact with us or make a purchase
  • on behalf of our customers who use our software and services to collect personal data, for example from attendees who book places at one of our customers’ events.

2. Data retention period

By law, we need to keep basic information about our customers for six years after they cease working with us for tax, insurance and Government purposes.

When there is no legitimate or legal reason to retain personal data, it will be anonymised or deleted from our systems.

Data belonging to our customers is retained in accordance with their own data retention policies, which must as a minimum, comply with current Data Protection Laws. Where requested, personal data is anonymised or deleted from our systems.

3. No sale, loan or syndication of personal data

We do not under any circumstances sell, loan or otherwise syndicate any personal data that we receive on our own behalf to any third party.

End User data captured using our services belongs to our respective Customers’, who may transfer it to other systems under their control for legitimate fulfilment of your request, for example to book a place at an event.  In some circumstances they (or we on their instruction) may also transfer data to another party for similar purpose.  This will be clearly explained at the point of data capture, such as in the terms and conditions of booking a place at an event.
